This beautiful journal features original works of art created by participants in You Night’s ScART (Scar + Art) healing program—a powerful experience where survivors turn their scars into sacred, visual stories of resilience.

Each design reflects the strength, beauty, and journey of someone who has faced life-changing challenges, using art as a path to healing.

A portion of the proceeds from this sale will be donated to the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation in honor of this artist.

About the art and artist:

Alisha Malloy’s story is one anchored in faith, resilience, and transformation. Her scars—from a port implant and removal, a mastectomy, and reconstructive surgeries—mark a journey that tested her in ways she never imagined. Yet, rather than seeing these marks as something to hide, Alisha views them through a powerful and sacred lens.

In her artwork, she chose the Ankh Cross as a central symbol—representing faith as the foundation from which she understands her scars. To her, they are not signs of brokenness, but living proof that her life has been tested and that she is still standing, still walking in the purpose God created for her. Each scar becomes a testimony, a visible reminder of strength, survival, and divine presence.

Through this experience, Alisha came to a profound realization: her scars are meant to be shared, not hidden. They are part of her story—and part of what God can do. She embraces the truth that she is, in her words, a walking miracle.

More than just reflection, this journey has become a pathway to deeper healing—not a return to who she once was, but a stepping into who she is becoming. Surrounded by other women who are not just surviving but thriving, Alisha found connection, strength, and inspiration. For her, this experience is not just about recovery—it is about transformation, purpose, and the beauty of becoming.
