About the art and artist:
"This piece of art reflects my journey—marking the scars from breast cancer lymph node removal, two C-sections, and my port removal. Each one tells a story.
I chose hearts around my C-section scars to honor the births of my two children—moments that will forever live in my heart. Gold represents survival, a testament to enduring what once felt impossible. Red symbolizes victory, grounded in my faith and the promise of John 3:16.
This experience has transformed the way I see my scars. What once felt like reminders of pain have become symbols of strength and triumph. It has also opened my eyes to the journeys of others, reminding me that none of us walk this path alone."
