Each design reflects the strength, beauty, and journey of someone who has faced life-changing challenges, using art as a path to healing.

A portion of the proceeds from this sale will be donated to the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation in honor of this artist.

About the art and the artist:

Betty Milazzo’s story is one of faith, surrender, and deep gratitude. Her scars—from a lumpectomy on her left breast, a reduction on both breasts, lymph node removal, and a port—tell of her cancer journey, but she sees them through a spiritual lens. For Betty, these scars are not hers alone to carry—she has given them to Jesus, placing her pain and her healing in His hands.

In her artwork, Betty painted a cross standing atop a mountain, inspired by the sacred place of Medjugorje, which she has visited twice. The image reflects not only her faith, but the strength she draws from it. The bright colors she chose represent a state of trust—a trust in God, in her journey, and in the path laid before her.

Through the ScART experience, Betty came to a simple yet profound realization: she is blessed. Despite all she has faced, or perhaps because of it, she sees her life through a lens of gratitude and grace.

She believes deeply in the power of this kind of expression and encourages others—especially those who are searching or questioning—to take part. For Betty, sharing her story and witnessing the stories of others is not just healing, but a way to connect, reflect, and grow in faith and understanding.
