Orange in my painting represents the vibrant life I was living before my cancer diagnosis. Pink captures the psychological pain and emotional toll the disease brought with it. Yellow, shining brightest, symbolizes the light I found after cancer—a reminder to truly live my best life. My scars are a testament to survival. I’ve come to understand that while I can’t control death, cancer taught me that life is precious because it’s finite. That realization pushed me to be fully present, to find joy in the smallest moments, and to live with intention and gratitude. Through this experience, I had the privilege of spending time with an amazing group of women, painting our scars into something beautiful. Together, we turned pain into purpose. You Night is more than a nonprofit—it’s a sisterhood. It empowers women to walk through the darkest seasons of their lives and emerge stronger, more radiant, and deeply connected. I am profoundly grateful to be part of something so meaningful. This journey has taught me the value of healing, the strength found in shared stories, and the incredible power of sisterhood through cancer. Here’s to resilience, renewal, and the beauty that rises after the storm."
